“Change is inevitable. Growth is optional.”
I like to use the example of a butterfly, as this takes me back to my training as a counsellor and my experience with change. When a caterpillar goes into the cocoon for change, it does not know what it will look like on the other side, yet it trusts the process.
Change.... it brings up a lot of thoughts and feelings for everyone and those will be different from person to person. Our response to change is totally normal, but sometimes we need some help with change and that's where counselling can help.
Counselling can help you explore your responses to change, your thoughts and feelings. It can help you find the answers you are looking for, or simply help you explore changes you may need to make in your life that your currently unable to identity. Counselling can be that space for you.
Counselling can help with acceptance around change to, adapting to your new surroundings in the world and becoming to use them to your advantage.
For me , if something is broken you fix it, if something is not working it needs change. perhaps change is what you need?
